About Me

Hi, I'm Caitlin.

I love reading, writing and anything else even slightly book related. I'm also a lover of lists, which coincidentally helps me out significantly when trying to organize my thoughts about said reading and writing. I like the peculiar things to be found in life, particularly when it comes to books (looking at you Ransom Riggs). I happen to have a fondness for fluffy slippers, specifically the ones shaped like cute little fuzzy animals. Fangirling is an unavoidable part of the book life, however I try to do it as quietly as possible, which isn't very quiet at all...

I like to think I can be pretty funny but that's a matter of opinion. I'm also the queen of sarcasm, it even says so on my laptop case. Seriously, I'm actually not being sarcastic at all right now.

I'm 5'8, which is a blessing and a curse, as I can reach the top shelf of my bookcase with ease but find it increasingly hard to fold myself into a cozy corner when reading. My thought process isn't the most linear, see third sentence in the post referring to my dependence on lists. This means that, combined with my fangirl nature, I might not always write to most beautifully structured posts. On the plus side you'll be able to tell the feels are very real.

I am a crazy dog lady and own three at the moment, though I'm always at risk of acquiring more. They are: a Chocolate Labrador called Ruby, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Alfie and a Pug who goes by Gus. I'm also fond of the littler critters and have two Guinea Pigs called Milly and Mitzy.

I'm 17 years old and am currently residing in Suffolk, though this can change at relatively frequent rate due to being a military brat. Oh, Suffolk's in England if you weren't sure. Heck I hadn't even heard of it till we moved here.

If you want to know more you can find me on:
Twitter, where I ramble about mostly the same things I do here just in 140 characters or less.
Instagram, where I enjoy posting pictures of beautiful books (and other stuff).
Tumblr, where I mostly reblog things about books.
Goodreads, where i keep track of my bookish lists (seeing a theme here?).
